The sculptures of the main characters, beloved Russian and foreign fairy tales, will delight visitors to the Moscow Estate of Father Frost all year round. Together with the creation of the Fairy Tale Trail, the territory will be arranged for a more comfortable stay in the Kuzminki-Lyublino Museum-Reserve, of which the Moscow Estate of Ded Moroz is a part.
The project involves the maximum preservation of the natural landscape, as well as themed design of recreation areas for park guests. By December, 546 trees will be planted here, including spruce, alder, juniper, hawthorn, spirea and other perennial green crops. More than 30 street lamps and 18 decorative benches and ballot boxes will make your walks as comfortable as possible at any time of the day.
The Fairy Tales Trail will house 65 sculptures of fairy-tale characters from The Wizard of the Emerald City, Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, Cinderella, 12 Months and Christmas Tree. They are made according to a unique patented technology of artistic concrete modeling and comply with sanitary-epidemiological and fire regulations.
In addition to walking along the trail, visitors will be able to take part in educational quests organized by the staff of the Moscow residence of Father Frost.
The opening of the fairy trail is expected in mid-November. A walk along it, as well as a visit to the estate of Santa Claus, is free for everyone. More will become one more favorite vacation spot for Muscovites and guests of the capital!
